The Poolhouse, the fresh creative hub in Hasselt, which just celebrated its first anniversary, is proudly unveiling its latest concept: Living Plates. From Corda Studios, they’re taking gastronomy to new heights with a unique blend of culinary artistry, technology, and storytelling. The result? An immersive 4D dining experience that stimulates all of your senses.
A complete experience for businesses and brands
With Living Plates, the traditional dining experience transforms into a multisensory journey. Projections, light, sound, scent effects, and even wind come together to create a narrative that fully immerses guests. Every dish is carefully aligned with visuals and soundscapes, making taste and experience go hand in hand. “This isn’t just a dinner, it’s a story. A story you experience together,” says Manon Melotte, spokesperson for The Poolhouse.
Storytelling meets culinary art
Living Plates works with pre-programmed themes, such as the four seasons, but also offers custom-made experiences. For product launches or brand activations, the entire environment ( from projections and light design to sound design) is tailored specifically to the brand. “This is how we bring a brand’s identity to life in a way that really sticks,” adds Brecht Boelen, co-spokesperson.
Gastronomy as the perfect enhancement
In collaboration with their trusted caterers, De Barrier and Traiteur MAS, a refined four-course menu is crafted that seamlessly fits the theme. Flavour, presentation, and rhythm are all woven into the story. But other caterers with a flair for creativity are also welcome to bring their ideas to life during Living Plates. “Our guests don’t just taste, they feel and experience what’s on their plate,” says Manon Melotte.
Exclusive setting in Hasselt
With space for up to 168 guests, The Poolhouse offers a one-of-a-kind venue for team buildings, client nights, product launches, and events. Living Plates positions Hasselt and Corda Studios once again as a breeding ground for innovation and creative entrepreneurship.
