Books are powerful on their own. But at Medialife, we know visuals can pull you in just as deeply. Combine the two? Magic. When Flanders Literature asked us to create a video series for De Boon, we knew this had to feel special. We produced fifteen dynamic videos featuring the nominees, each with a playful, energetic style that doesn’t just present literature but brings it to life. Designed for schools, libraries and a wide audience, the series turns titles into experiences. And because no story should be left untold, we made sure every author had their moment. Those who couldn’t join physically? We brought them in via Zoom interviews. A little digital detour, a lot of inclusion. Because if there’s a way to keep everyone in the spotlight, we’ll find it.

With this series, De Boon didn’t get a list of nominees. It got a face. A voice. A pulse. The videos became an open invitation to read, explore and engage. Playful and accessible, they encouraged schools, libraries and readers to dive straight into the shortlisted titles. Thanks to a smart mix of formats, the campaign performed strongly across social media, giving De Boon more visibility than ever before. And literature? It reclaimed its rightful place. Not as something distant or dusty, but as the grand adventure it truly is.
