Fiber on a sunny beach in Ostend? Not exactly an obvious combo. But that was the challenge. Together with BUTIK and VML, we brought Telenet to the Q-Beach House with one clear goal: make people feel Fiber without a single technical explanation in sight.

Our approach

We turned speed into play. Medialife built a fully interactive game from scratch, from 3D environments and smart code to the complete user flow. And because screen-based fun alone wasn’t enough, we linked the game to real pedalo boats on the beach. Pedal harder, go faster. In the game and in real life. Simple, physical, and instantly understood.

To top it off, we added a built-in memory-maker: an automated photo moment. Camera, registration, and email flow all stitched together seamlessly, so players received their personalized snapshot straight in their inbox. Play, smile, check your mail. Done.

Our impact

With Medialife on board, Telenet didn’t get a booth full of brochures, they got a beach attraction. Lines of pedalling visitors, big laughs, and a steady stream of photos flooding social feeds. The activation delivered visibility and leads, but more importantly: an experience people remembered. Because sometimes, the best way to explain complex tech… is to let people live it.
